Eleven Tourists are confirmed dead after a plane crash in Tanzania, this air craft was flying from Arusha to Serengeti National Park. Among the people who are dead two are Germany Nationals, two Americans, six are Tanzanians and one from South Africa who was the pilot.This Cessna Caravan aircraft crashed in Ngorongoro National Park and the Coastal Aviation, which owned the aircraft, said it is not clear what caused the crash, but confirmed investigations are ongoing.
It was flying tourists from Northern Tanzania- Arusha to the most popularly known Tanzania’s National Park “Serengeti” later on failed in Ngorongoro crater at about 0800 GMT thus crashing to the ground. Its a shock and a clear damage to the Tanzania’s tourism sector ” said the Coastal Aviation managing director Julian Edmunds”.
It is reported that ten bodies are recovered remaining with only one for the pilot and the identities of the dead are withheld until their families are informed.
