Day two while in Murchison Falls National Park very early in the morning you will go for game drives and this is where birding activity for bird watchers is covered most and they are able to spot ,sight ,discover bird species of different nature like the park’s main bird attraction known as the shoe bill and it is best sighted in the dry season but not only the shoe bill you also sight other bird species, animals in the park like lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes and others. There after you can go for some resting and refreshment.
Day three you will go for nature walks and this is where you can explore the scenery of Murchison Falls National Park and the vast landscapes on foot, during the walks your able see other features like big trees, vegetation, escarpments, bird species, great flows of water, depressions and many other primates.
Day four you will go for launch trips and spot fishing and this is where you will enjoy the amazing moments while sailing on waters of Murchison Falls and your also able to spot other species like hippos, Nile crocodiles and aquatic birds, some fish species like Nile perch and also morning cruise is recommended for birders to sight more bird species.
Day five will be from Murchison Falls National Park to Kampala very early in the morning after breakfast from Murchison via Gulu-Masindi high way. Lunch is provided en-route then proceed with the journey up to Kampala and before your departure time you will have a city drive around Kampala and thereafter depart from Entebbe airport back home.
Then Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest National Park
Visit the tourist destination located in the western part of Uganda with the delightful chimpanzees known as its major tourist attraction. These great apes are more attractive due to their unique characters which can’t be described to you by someone else otherwise you need to come and witness yourself and have some photographs. Kibale forest national park is located in the western part of Uganda and is characterized with many bird species over 300, primates and mammals. While in Kibale Forest National Park I enjoyed chimpanzee trekking activity which left me with everlasting memories about it.
After experiencing wildlife drive to Kibale Forest National Park via the Hoima – Kagadi road and this is full day drive through this rough road and you are required to hire a very strong 4wheel drive. You will have your dinner at your lodge of stay and our choice was the Kibale Forest Camp that is situated in the Eco environs of the park.
Then in Kibale Forest National Park very early in the morning after your breakfast you prepare and head to the park headquarters with your guide for briefing about chimpanzee trekking rules and thereafter enter the jungle for the trekking and this is a great activity which provides with an opportunity of sighting other species like birds, mammals like elephants, buffaloes, giant forest hogs and antelopes as your trekking for swinging chimpanzees in the branches of the trees. Other primates like monkeys are also sighted. After that activity you will be left with a great experience about Kibale Forest National Park and you will go back for some resting at your residence. You can end your tour with cultural encounters where you visit the community and share with them and experience their life styles, culture and others.
Day four after your tour it will be preparing for your journey from Kibale Forest National Park to Kampala very early in the morning after your breakfast and it will be from Kibale National Park to Kampala via Fort Portal – Mubende highway and lunch is provided en-route and some stops over along the journey for snacks and adventure, thereafter to Kampala for your return flight back home with a great experience about chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest National Park.
