In line with the reopening of Mikeno and Bukima lodges on the 1st July 2019, we would like to make you aware that the packages revolving around these lodges will operate on a set departure schedule.
This schedule was designed in order to ensure tourism security procedures can be upheld whilst giving your clients flexibility over arrival dates.
The Petit Virunga package will now be split into 2 options: Petit Virunga Mikeno and Petit Virunga Bukima. Please see the attached sheet for a description of both.
The Virunga Classic and Great Ape packages will remain unchanged.
The scheduled departures for each package will be:

Petit Virunga Bukima: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 1100 from Grande Barriere Border Post
Petit Virunga Mikeno: Fridays at 1100 from Grande Barriere Border Post
