Are you staying in Uganda and volunteering in any Non-profit organization and looking to take an affordable trip from Kampala to parks. Easy contact Ugandan tour and book their daily discounted Uganda tours to Murchison Falls National Park.
Last year 2021, we came to Uganda on a voluntary work with E4P Africa a local non-profit organization and after our period of 06 month of work we wanted to go on a very an affordable trip. We were 08 in total and when we contacted Uganda tour, we got a very quick response from Moses giving us a very well detailed safari itinerary and the price based on 08 people cruising in 4×4 safari van and staying in a self-contained safari tents.
We started our safari holiday on Friday and our 4×4 van and guide came an evening before our next day of departure and then early morning we embarked our van and started our journey to Murchison Falls National Park and since we were from the outskirts of Kampala, in fact from Buikwe District we started early such that we can pass through Kampala before the traffic jam flow is not yet heavy.
These 07 hours’ drive journey was so amazing to us and our guide was so welcoming to our questions about the trip and the entire country “Uganda”. From Nakasongola we branched off the Kampala – Gulu highway to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for the foot rhino tracking and lunch.
After we took a very relaxing drive to the top of the falls and this was an amazing place to take memorable photos and videos. Here we saw interesting nature and when the falls are flowing through the rock gorge to really awesome.
After being filled with long lasting memories about the River Nile we again continued with our journey to the northern part of the park crossing the River Nile over the bridge and we drove straight to the Pakuba Lodge and upon arrival and tired check-in our rooms, dinner and later we had to go and rest as we had got the next program.
Then on our second day early in the morning after breakfast we took the game drive and here our emphasis was looking for the African big5 and other wildlife species like Lions, Elephants, Leopards, Buffaloes, Giraffes, bush and water bucks among others. This experience takes 3 – 4 hours and after return to the lodge for the hot lunch. Thereafter in the afternoon we had to proceed to the banks of the River Nile waiting for the unforgettable boat cruise at the shores of the River.
Then at around 2 PM we took a boat cruise with the Wild Frontiers service provider and this cruise takes around the shores of the River Nile spotting more wildlife and birds that you might have missed on the game drive viewing route. After we drove back to our lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Since our flight on the last day was a bit late we had to ask our safari guide to take us to another morning game drive, and he did not hesitate giving us this another chance and had we just left the lodge we met a lion pride of 6 members, that is 3 adults and 3 young ones and we comfortably stationed here for almost 3 hours taking unforgettable photos and videos to show back home to our family members.
We thought it was a mere trip but we had great experience at a very affordable price and staying in good and clean self-contained rooms. I do highly recommend this company if you are planning to take short or long Uganda safari in this coming summer!
