Retina Hippo Pool, which is located in the central of Serengeti, this is situated where Orangi and Seronera rivers converge with over 200 playing hippos. Moru Kopjes, this one of the greatest features within the park, this is a gigantic rock which rise up on the Serengeti plains and they are scattered around the visitors centre, they provide shade to the visitors with small water pools. These contain some of the African rock paints of the Masai and one of the rocks was named the “Gong Rock”, this is also a place to see both big and small mammals.
Olduvai Gorge, this found in between Ngorongoro crater and Serengeti, the gorge runs about 30miles long. A visit to this area makes an individual to remember a place where the human fossils and tools of long time ago where discovered, these human fossils are used to identify the origin of the human being. The Oldupai museum is another place to enter for more research discoveries around and this can take around 30minutes.
