This part of the drive offers opportunities to spot the Big Five such as lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards and rhinos along with a myriad of other wildlife species unique to the Serengeti.
In the afternoon, you will engage in a more focused game drive in the central Serengeti. The Seronera Valley famous for its perennial water supply, supports an abundant and diverse array of wildlife. Expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, wildebeests and various species of antelopes. When you are done with the game drive, return to the lodge for dinner and sleepovers.

After a picnic lunch in the Serengeti, begin your journey towards Karatu, a drive of approximately 3hours. Along the way, take in the changing scenery as you leave the Serengeti and head towards the highlands of Karatu. After all that return to your lodge for dinner and sleepovers.
The 3rd day start it with an early breakfast at your hotel in Karatu, fueling up for the exciting day ahead. Travel to the Ngorongoro Crater and begin your descent into this UNESCO World Heritage site for a full morning game drive. The crater is one of the best places in Africa to spot the Big Five in one location alongside other wildlife such as zebras, wildebeests and hippos.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated spot near the Hippo Pool where you can relax and take in the surroundings. After lunch, continue exploring the crater. This part of the day will provide opportunities to learn about the crater’s unique geology and its rich biodiversity.
After thoroughly exploring the crater, ascend and start your journey back to Arusha to catch up with flight or to return to your residence and this will mark the end of your 09 days safari in Serengeti and Ngorongoro.
