  1. Uganda Wildlife Safaris. These Safaris involves visiting different National Parks with the aim of experiencing different wildlife primates and this is done through engaging in different activities listed below.

Chimpanzee Tracking & Habituation experience. These primates are mostly found in Kibale Forest National Park & Chimpanzee tracking involves visiting these primates in the Jungle and share with them through enjoying their behaviors and ways of living. When you discover these primates you are allowed to stay in their presence for only one hour. The permit for visiting these primates costs $150 USD per person and park entrance fee which goes for $40 USD per person per 24 hours. If not Chimpanzee tracking you will go for Chimpanzee Habituation experience which allows to stay with these primates for a full day while experiencing them and the permit for this costs $220 USD per person.

Chimpanzee Safaris

Golden Monkey Tracking. This is only done in Mgahinga National Park as in Uganda Golden Monkeys are only found in Mgahinga. This activity involves visiting these primates in the Jungle and experience them through sighting them while playing in the tree branches or moving on the ground and you will be able to take photos of these primates for your memories. You will be allowed to stay around these apes for one hour and the permit for tracking costs $50 USD per person and also you can do the experience which goes for a full day and it costs $100 USD per person.

Golden Monkey Safaris

Gorilla Trekking & Habituation Experience. Mountain Gorillas in Uganda are found both in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Mgahinga National Park with Bwindi hosting the most part of Uganda’s Gorilla population. Therefore gorilla trekking tours are done in these two Ugandan National Park which involves visiting these apes in the Jungle and share with them through enjoying their ways of behaving, plays and more but to visit them you must buy a permit which issues you permission plus one hour stay with these apes and it costs $600 USD per person in the high season & $450 USD per person in the low season.

Gorilla Trekking Safaris

You can also do Gorilla trekking experience if you wish to know more about these apes which is only done in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and to participate in this activity you will be required to buy a permit which issues you permission plus a full day stay with these apes in the Jungle, this permit costs $1500 USD per person

Bird Watching. This is another activity you should not miss out on your special list while In Uganda and it’s done in different National Parks like Queen Elizabeth National Park mostly in the Ishasha sector, Kyambura gorge, Kazinga channel and more, Semuliki National park, Lake Mburo National park, Kibale Forest National Park in the Bigodi Wetland, Kidepo Valley national Park and more. This activity is mostly done while on Game drive, Launch cruise or Nature walks and its advised either to go in Morning or evening time, Bird Watching costs $30 USD per person.

African Shoebill Safaris

Photography Safaris. These photo safaris are done in different National Park depending on the primates you have more interest in like Gorillas and other wildlife primates, different bird species, cultural and more.

 

  1. Cultural Tours. These tours involve visiting different cultural groups and experience their ways of living.

Batwa Cultural Experience. This involves visiting the Batwa people in their local communities as in Uganda are found in Bwindi Impenetrable national Park, Mgahinga National Park, Lake Bunyonyi, and Semuliki National Park but the experience is only done in Mgahinga National Park which involves visiting them and experience their way of living through participating in their cultural dances and other ways of living. This experience costs $ 80 USD per person.

Batwa Cultural Tours

 

  1. Adventure Tours. These tours do not involve visiting wildlife primates but involves visiting and discover the geographical nature like White Water rafting in Jinja, Mountain Hiking Tours and more. Rafting in Jinja costs $145 USD per person for full day and $125 USD per person for half day and these adventure tours are mostly done in groups.
