Flying your safari is a great way to reduce travel time, especially for those planning a safari within limited time-frames. To incorporate flights into our safaris we have stationed some of our customized safari 4×4 Land cruiser vehicles with trained and experienced guides in most of our Ugandan Tour parks like Bwindi, Queen Elizabeth, Kibale Forest and Murchison Falls National Park among others. You can now substitute the long 8-10+ hour drives to some of these locations with a scenic  1 ½ hour flight from Entebbe International Airport, leaving you more time to enjoy the lodges and surrounding activities.

Our clients can now take advantage of this arrangement with our fly-in packages. Perfect for travelers on a short time frame our 3-6 day packages allow you to fly in to track Mountain Gorillas and or enjoy the game and dramatic scenery of Queen Elizabeth or Murchison Falls National Parks. If the cost of one of these trips seems out of reach, perhaps take advantage of the reduced low season rates for Gorilla Permits to USD 450 each instead of USD 600 each in April, May and November every year.  We have tagged on special low season rates for the other package services to offer you the best value ever within these same months.

Fly on a scheduled (daily) flight to Kihihi airstrip. Upon arrival at Kihihi, you will be met by a Nature Adventure Africa Safaris’ representative and driven to Mahogany Springs Lodge in Buhoma sector, of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park; approximately one hour’s drive. There are a variety of optional activities that can be done this afternoon (time permitting), these include: forest walk, village community walk which can also be taken up upon your discloser to us that you want to take part.

On day two, following breakfast at the lodge, travel to National Park Headquarters to meet your guides for the day and begin your gorilla tracking experience. Experienced guides and trackers will accompany your party on an early morning trek into the dense rain forest on the mountain slopes.

The journey, through dense foliage and up steep climbs, is abundantly rewarded with the lifetime experience of viewing mountain gorillas in their natural habitat.  You will have an opportunity to be within meters of these magnificent apes, sharing in their daily lives and experiencing their day-to-day activities.  Mountain gorillas are extremely rare with only an estimated 880 remaining in the wild.  This is an experience you won’t soon forget!

Day three, Depart Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park and travel to Kihihi for your return flight to Entebbe.  End of our services.

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest boasts Mountain Gorillas – the only forest in Africa which can make this claim in fact. It also hosts five other species of primate, 113 species of mammal, over 200 butterflies and 360 birds. The Gorillas you will track belong to one of nine habituated family groups who can tolerate the presence of humans for a brief period every day. Your trek will be an exciting journey along forested slopes, entwined vines, bushes and bamboo before you eventually reach the Gorillas’ habitat. En-route, your guide will point out signs of previous Gorilla activity, including dung, nests and chewed bamboo shoots.
